31.1 (1 oz). This fierce 1 Oz Silver coin is part of the “Knight Games” series, an immersive journey into medieval combat. This edition places you behind the visor. Inspired by the story of William Marshal, the design evokes a world where courage and ambition meet at the edge of a blade. Vivid coloration brings the tournament to life, framed by the helmet’s stark geometry and the luminous contrast of Proof quality. One breath before steel meets steel. Presented in a sword-themed display frame. Limited to 750 pieces worldwide. The reverse of this Silver coin captures a sword fight from a knight’s perspective, with the surrounding helmet creating a narrow view of the tournament arena. Through the visor, an armored opponent approaches from the left with sword raised and shield held forward, while the viewer’s own blade rises in the foreground to the right. Colored spectators crowd behind wooden barriers, heightening the tension of an encounter measured in instinct and seconds. Above the eye openings, a heraldic lion appears to the left and a cross to the right; below, rows of circular ventilation details complete the helmet design. At the bottom, the inscription: “2027″ – the year of issue. The obverse presents a kneeling knight resting both hands upon the pommel of an upright sword, with a lion-bearing shield to the left. A castle, tournament tents, banners, and gathered spectators fill the background, while the Effigy of King Charles III appears to the right. At the top, the inscription: “COOK ISLANDS” – the issuing country. Along the lower perimeter, “5 DOLLARS” – the face value, and “CHARLES III” – the name of the King. Beneath the Effigy, “DT” – the designer’s initials. Around the outer upper edge, the inscription: WILLIAM MARSHAL, 1ST EARL OF PEMBROKE, REGENT OF ENGLAND. THE GREATEST KNIGHT WHO EVER LIVED. The tribute to William Marshal.
