The composition is divided between an engraved map and a dramatic three-dimensional representation of the landscape. To the left, delicate roads and pathways trace the human routes around the canyon. To the right, the terrain rises abruptly from the coin, revealing a dense network of ridges, ravines, and deeply sculpted formations. The Colored relief glows in layered tones of copper, russet, gold, brown, and touches of green. Every elevation catches the light differently.
