The reverse of the coin features a beautiful and colored image of the Apollo 11 command module on the Moon, with stars moonscape, colored flag, and a colored Earth earth. The bottom of the reverse features the incredible Kapton foil insert. “THIS KAPTON FOIL PROVIDED THERMAL PROTECTION FOR THE APOLLO 11 COMMAND MODULE ON ITS FLIGHT TO THE MOON AND BACK”.
