You don’t have to visit Nebraska to see their state animal, it’s the Meadowlark! These distinctive little birds have bright yellow throats and bellies with a V-shaped black mark that kind of looks like a collar tie. You can spot them form across the United States in national parks and in your backyard. Their beaks make it easy to dig though the dirt so you’ll usually find them on the ground.
