Chinese dragons are legendary creatures in Chinese mythology and folklore, with mythic counterparts among Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Bhutanese, Western and Turkic dragons. In Chinese art, dragons are typically portrayed as long, scaled, serpentine creatures with four legs. In yin and yang terminology, a dragon is yang and complements a yin fenghuang (“Chinese phoenix”). The coins reverse design captures beautifully designed yellow dragon with a pearl in the center. The Dragon is supposed to bring prosperity to its owner. At the top you can read the inscriptions: Prosperity brought by the Dragon. The obverse of each coin features the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Prosperity brought by the Dragon silver coin comes encapsulated and is housed in a beautiful wooden presentation case, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. 1oz – 31.1g.
