The Space Shuttle Program – 30 Years of Space Exploration, 1981 – 2011. 2012 Cook Islands Space Shuttle coin set. 999 Silver plated & CuNi, 24kt Gold plated. (Mintage silver plated: 951, gold plated: 30). Including wooden box and two certificates (which both state the mintage as 981 and the material as silver plated). The gold plated coins are a subset of the original 981 mintage – meaning they have been plated with gold after beeing issued. Only 30 were plated with pure 24 carat gold!!
