The coin is graded MS70, has a Proof quality, is partially coloured and comes along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 7.777 pieces worldwide! The reverse of the coin reproduces a proud Kentucky Thoroughbred running through a green field. At the top, a star with the USA Flag motif. On the reverse, the inscriptions: “KENTUCKY” and “THOROUGHBRED” – the name of the state and the name of its symbol and “AMERICAN STATE ANIMALS” – the name of the series. The obverse of the coin depicts some tree branches and an eagle’s nest.
