This antiqued brilliant uncirculated coin series issued by Cook Islands is dedicated to the fifth Crusade. It belongs to “History of the Crusades” series. The coin reverse depicts a portrait of John of Brienne, the King of Jerusalem, while in the background is a scene showing the attack of Damietta in Egypt. Above the inscription “FIFTH CRUSADE 1213″ and in the bottom “JOHN of BRIENNE- King of Jerusalem”. The obverse, common for all coins in the series, shows Queen Elisabeth II effigy and a stylized image of Holy Crusades.
