The reverse of this high relief, rimless coin emulates the topography of a meteorite impact crater, including an impact hole struck completely through the coin, with random cracks and lines of stress, and meteorite fragment embedded in the surface. Inscriptions are subtly positioned near the coin’s edge, indicating the meteorite’s name, impact coordinates, and 2016.
